IMO, the sweet spot is to do the Frozen Wilds after collecting all the Metal Flowers, and just after Grave Hoard. You can revisit Cyan for the important dialogue, get the Hephaestus dialogue during the exploration of Zero Dawn, and it doesn't feel as if you're ignoring urgent elements.
