Bollullo is about 20minutes 'walk' from La Paz through the banana plantation, down the baranco, up again, past the restaurante and down to the first beach there the bar provides cold beer and generous sandwiches. The sand is Black and Hot, the surf can be dangerous,but the situation warrants the effort.
In Gran Canaria, you have Playa del Ingles, the beautiful Maspalomas beach, as well as Playa de Puerto Rico, Playa Amadores and Playa de Mogan. In the capital, you have Las Canteras Beach, which is often listed as one of the best city beaches in Spain. So in terms of beaches, we personally prefer Gran Canaria versus Tenerife.
